Food hamper distribution • Cape Town • August 2026
A complete feedback report prepared for Farouk Gani, documenting the distribution of 1,000 essential food hampers across communities in the Western Cape.
A message of gratitude
Through this contribution, Ashraful Aid was able to prepare and distribute 1,000 food hampers across five Cape Town communities. The distribution was organised to place staple food support directly into the hands of community recipients, with local teams helping to coordinate collection and handover.
The photographs and video in this report record the practical journey from prepared hampers to community distribution. They reflect the dignity, care and shared effort made possible by your donation.
Food hampers distributed
The five area allocations reconcile exactly to the full donated total.
Distribution by area
The allocation balanced larger distributions in Seawinds and Bonteheuwel with targeted distributions in Kalksteenfontein, Kapteinsklip and Strand.
Reporting basis: verified hamper units supplied for each distribution area. Individual beneficiary and household-size data were not supplied, so no unsupported reach estimate has been added.
